I was born in Portland Oregon. I graduated from Florence High School. I attended Clackamas Community College and Oregon State University for my undergraduate degree.
I graduated from Oregon State University College of veterinary Medicine. My best memories of vet school are traveling to Nicaragua to bring vet care to a much needed area, making lifelong friendships with people who truly understood the challeges vet school brings and working with cute goats and their babies!
I love backpacking, hiking, traveling, playing frisbee, music (what an amazing source of energy), juggling, teaching my cats new tricks, and cooking new, yummy, healthy foods!
I want to volunteer at local shelters, with the feral cat coalition, world vets and local schools to teach kids about veterinary medicine and animal care.
I have 3 cats, a dog, a leopard gecko, 2 gerbils and a rat. My favorite bird is a blue heron.
I have a boyfriend, Dustin, of seven years who I hike the country and beyond with. My future travel plans at this time are to someday visit the east coast of Canada and Vancouver Island, France, Australia (to see my favorite band Silverchair!!!), Souteast Asia, Yellowstone Park, Austin,Texas(Austin City Limits!) and Canyonlands Utah!
My family and friends are my lifeline~their love and support make my heart flutter with happiness that nothing else can.
